Please note that if you are working in Victoria and are subject to mandatory RSA requirements, it is important to complete an approved RSA training course within one month from the date you first sell, offer for sale or serve liquor on a licensed premise.
Upon finishing the initial Victorian RSA course through an LCV-approved RTO, such as Job Trainer Australia, individuals must undertake a complimentary online refresher every three years.
If under 18, you can still complete RSA training but must wait until reaching 18 to serve, sell, or supply alcohol.

The unit covers the following areas;

➤ Assist customers to drink within appropriate limits.
➤ Assess alcohol affected customers and identify those to whom sale or service must be refused.
➤ Refuse to provide alcohol.
ASSESSMENT DETAIL
Assessment involves various formats and criteria:
1. Assessments are open book, allowing reference to guides or materials during the task .
2. Participants must independently respond to all questions in their own words.
3. Evaluation is based on a Satisfactory or Not Yet Satisfactory outcome, with feedback provided.
4. Tasks are completed to demonstrate knowledge to trainers and assessors
