  4. Within 90 days, take your RSA interim certificate and 100 points of ID to a Service NSW centre to get your RSA competency card.

It is the NSW Food Authority certificate that allows you to be nominated as a Food Safety Supervisor in NSW. It is issued once you complete SITXFSA005, SITXFSA006 and the NSW key focus areas, and it is valid for 5 years.

How do I get my NSW RSA competency card?

After you complete the NSW RSA, you receive an interim certificate valid for 90 days, which lets you start work straight away. Within that time, take it to a Service NSW centre with 100 points of identification to apply for your competency card.

Is the training nationally recognised?

Yes. All units are nationally recognised and delivered by Job Trainer Australia, Registered Training Organisation 45742.
