Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) Requirements for this Course
The term 'language, literacy, numeracy, and digital' (LLND) refers to core skills, learning, reading, writing, oral communication and numeracy. These core skills are required by an individual completing this unit.
Training providers are responsible for ensuring that learners have the necessary Language, Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital (LLND) competencies for their chosen training program. This involves using assessment tools to evaluate a learner's LLND skills before enrolling them in a course. This helps ensure that learners have the appropriate level of LLND skills needed to succeed in the course, leading to better outcomes and increased confidence.
Job Trainer Australia takes this responsibility seriously and requires all potential learners to complete a short 6-question LLND assessment prior to course enrolment, to help ensure their success in the training course.
This short assessment is not counted towards the final result, but learners are required to obtain at least 4 out of the 6 questions correct. Any identified skill gaps will prompt Job Trainer Australia to call the learner to discuss further.
By completing this short assessment, learners can be confident that they have the necessary LLND skills to succeed in their chosen course.
