Meet Queensland Law— Certificate required within 28 days of starting work

Staff engaged in the sale, supply or service of liquor have 28 days from the date they commence employment or as a volunteer to complete this course. A copy of your Statement of Attainment must be presented to your employer as soon as practicable. 

28-Day Requirement – By law, you must complete an approved RSA course in Queensland within 28 days of starting paid or volunteer work in hospitality or another alcohol-related role.

Certification Submission – Once you finish your RSA training and pass all assessments, provide your employer with your official RSA Statement of Attainment.
